Delete your account and data
You can delete your Maathru account at any time. This also deletes the personal data linked to it.
Option 1: in the app
- Open Maathru and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Close account.
- Confirm with your password, or with Google, Facebook or Apple if you signed in with them.
Your account is deleted straight away.
Option 2: by email
If you can no longer use the app, email contact@maathru.app with the subject “Delete my Maathru account”. Send it from the email address you used for Maathru so we can confirm the account is yours. We will delete it within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (name, email address and linked Google, Facebook or Apple sign-in).
- Your pregnancy profile: due date, height and weight.
- Your records: weight entries, contraction timings, kick counts and clinic or scan appointments.
- Bank transfer receipts you uploaded, and your notification settings.
What we keep
- Payment records (order number, amount, date and payment method) are kept for up to 7 years, because tax and accounting laws require it. They are not used for anything else.
Facebook sign-in
If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Maathru from your Facebook account: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, choose Maathru and select Remove. Then delete your Maathru account using one of the options above.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. Any remaining premium time is lost and cannot be refunded.
